That's not the flake that moves, it's the one to the right that wriggles. If you lead the thing you can get a small cam in the super solid rock between the flakes, and use the left flake for foot holds (step gingerly and pretend you are in the Canadian Rockies). Jun 23, 2017

When I was on the route last month, I started up between the two flakes just below the balcony, and I grabbed the flake shown here in red and it moved about 4 inches. Maybe there are two flakes in question. I downclimbed and rerouted left to the face. Regardless, either would be a ropecutter. Jun 24, 2017

Both of those suckers move! Not sure that it was 4 inches though... but I don't go near them, always go to the left, maybe it is worse now. Aug 23, 2017
