This photo was taken over the weekend at Quaking Aspen, which is just up road from the Needles and Dome Rock. Lots of snow as you can see, with more on the way likely. I enjoy the ski into Dome Rock in winter, which should give you an idea of the likely conditions. It's possible you could find OK conditions near the base, but I'd think you'd always have lots of seepage, if not concerns of sheets of snow sliding off from up top.
