Sun was set, and hard to get a good picture of this arctic fox...hard to even see him in the first place. He was hiding behind some sheep, who didn't seem to mind. I first noticed him as a blur heading for some rocks as we passed near the sheep. I later saw him stick his head out for a peek, and then once more, before he darted into a den beneath the boulders. You'll find bird carcasses around the fields, just bones and feathers with the meat delicately picked away.

Another common anchor set-up at Hnappavellir
Typical bolt and hangar that you'll find around the crag. There are a few routes with manky bolts, but they looked seldom climbed based on the moss and lack of soil compaction at the base of the climbs. Look up and evaluate the pro before you climb anywhere new to you.
