No, I haven't tried driving Fixit Pass yet. This is on the North Coal Wash road coming out of Ferron before the junction with the South Coal Wash road. We call this section the gumby filter because the rest of the road would be fairly reasonable in just about any high clearace vehicle, but this section would work a CRV or Subaru over pretty good. Got it Andrew. Yeah coming from CO we would always come in from the east via Fixit Pass, then exit to the west. Going down Fixit is okay, and we would still have to do some road building sometimes, but we would always exit to the west. Going up the west side of Fixit Pass would be burly and potentially damaging for most stock vehicles. (Up near the top of Fixit is another cool little tower that Mike Bryan and I did. We called it The Saddlehorn as it's at the head of Saddlehorse Canyon.) Sep 21, 2016
