Funny you should mention that. Shortly after I took this photo I got my ice axe wrapped around the other party's rope, and proceeded to tear a pectoral muscle that took me out of climbing for over 3 weeks. Yeah, not a good situation.
(What happened: A slower party was letting us pass them. We were keeping our rope above theirs, but then they crossed over our rope a couple of times after that.) Aug 1, 2016

Yep, we made it to the summit by noon and I couldn't lift my arm the next day and was out of climbing for 4 weeks. Lesson learned, either: (1) wake up even earlier, (2) be satisfied with being behind a slower party, or (3) solo.
