Ha! We pulled similar shenanigans, Drew! (Looking at the roof from the belay I thought, "Ooooo, fist jams!" - I was sorely mistaken...haha And, yes- The whole area is loose and brittle. I admittedly pulled a little crimper off myself. May 4, 2016

"Heady move"... you ain't kidding! When I led that roof, I used my head/helmet as a "chimney stem" behind my back on the under side of the roof! When I pried my head back onto the gracious edge(you can see it in the photo above your partner...), a loose plate fell onto my belayer's leg on the belay ledge below. He was startled and scared but luckily he was okay. I remember that head stem was everything for me! May 3, 2016
The overhanging corner is dirty and brittle; The roof is really interesting. Requires a bit of thought and a heady move. May 3, 2016
