Lone Pine Peak from the Alabama Hills at sunrise. The North Ridge is the prominent ridge leading directly off to the right from the summit and the Northeast Ridge is the closer of the two.

The top of the correct descent gully in May 2025. Several large cairnes mark the spot. You won't get this view until you've descended diagonally down skier's left from the summit ridge. Do this when you're near the lowest point in the saddle N of summit
