This is the first year to bring an online volunteer sheet to Ice Fest and should mark a huge step forward.

The approach trail to the 19 Mile wall is in great condition along with the ice routes.

Tara makes another amazing flyer for us and we send it out a week before ice fest kicks off!

Things are in place for pre-ice fest crowds. We will throw a few more tree's across for the event weekend.<br>

AMH is once again running an Ice Fest Special on there gear rental along with putting together a another great giveaway package. We can't say thanks enough.

This Year Mountainfilm will be opening for Ice Fest on Friday night Feb 12, at the Civic Center.

Upping the game this year in Valdez

The Valdez Prospector is once again pitching in a sweet package to make this another great festival. Better yet they are now supporting the climbing community here with some of the gear we need in the vertical world so be sure to check them out. Thanks Joe and Chris.

Yah Petzl!!! We just got a shipment of demo gear and give away hats to keep you nice and warm this ice fest. Temps are looking stable and it has been below freezing in the canyon for weeks now. The river is frozen and the ice is sticky
