This photo from Tofana di Mezzo Punta Anna shows the "descent" that you need to take to exit all the great routes on Tofana di Rozes pillars. You traverse/descend the ledge systems from the route until you hit the snow fields (or scree) then turn UPHILL and head for that notch to the left of the prominent tower. Once there you descend down to the Rifugio and wrap back around on the trail. Do NOT go down early.
