Starts on the flat edge towards the right side of the photo, below the obvious rail, and goes up and left to topout.  Bottom portion is sandstone, upper is quartzite.

Sandstone under the QTZ. I want to see this just for the geological factor! The SS is over the Qtz everywhere else in the park that I know of. Dec 20, 2015
Bit of clarification! Bottom portion of the problem is sandstone, upper half is quartzite. Actually a perfect example of what you're talking about though as you can see the transition of the two in the rail. Dec 20, 2015
