Old Glory on the "Summit"
Ralph on "Summit" That's the big Rt93 road cut in the background to the right of Ralph. Best way down is to head off left at 45-degree angle; not knowing this on our first visit we rapped from the big pine just behind Ralph, down to a 2nd pine with fixed rap, then down that past a new 2 bolt "station" to the ground.
Overhanging end of the rap off the red-sling tree anchor. We used a single 65m, but plenty of rope left over. Climbs are to climber's right from here.
Fixed webbing anchor we found on the tree about 80 ft below the big pine tree.
Bolt-Placing Practice from the 1970's??? This was found on Class-2 slab (i.e. "Walking"), 2 feet from a perfect crack. Interesting artifact, though!
