Phase two will be a 65 degree wall. You can see the poles that will hold the wall. Kick board vertical about 3 ft high then to a 65 incline.

Had to add a mega volume. Used scrap and left over wood. Got the idea from one of the volumes in my old gym. This made the flat wall come alive with some awesome new routes.

Put up first sheet of plywood on top section. Then had to at least put up a route. Sweet.

After taking some time off for snowboarding season and travel to Asia....it was time to get back to building.

Next sections of plywood went up today. Not too difficult, just have to get creative.

The volume was neat to make. Not too bad for my first time.

Future thoughts.......

Added a section in the crook of the intersecting poles.

Square it up.

Reinforced on the backside.

Kickboard framing done. Add plywood then onto the hard part; the 65 degree wall.

In charge of sanding and painting.

Section 2 frame up complete. I doubled up on the top 2x6 to add more stiffness to the second section. Future pics will show how the top section will be reinforced for stiffness.

Added a roof, but not sure about using it. Height is 12ft.

Mark and plan your spacing when using boards.

Prep the ground.

First route.

I used blocks as the foundation. Used sand underneath to even the blocks.

Some new routes went up today. This completes phase II of my backyard wall.<br>
Going to take a winter break from construction to snowboard and do some climbing on some real rock.<br>
