This is the second pitch of Pegasus on Mt Hayden in the Grand Canyon. The first 2 pitches are both crux pitches. The 3rd pitch, although easier, isn't a gimme either. Mt Hayden is one of the best summits around. Photo by Markguycan.

Mt Hayden from the approach trail. From this point the approach gets easy, quite a contrast (and a relief) from the first part. You can see the p2 right-leaning dihedral in the middle of the face. Photo by Markguycan.
A shot from the FA, Jim Haisley starting the uglies on the start of the 2nd pitch. We cleaned a "bit" of loose stuff out of this thing. Very clean higher up though.
