Can't say I'm certain about pitch 3 but it's obvious when you're on it. It ended up a steep nose that was fabulous but not that hard (5.9?)<br>

when Mike and I climbed it, I lead the first pitch following thin cracks up to the left leaning diagonal on the ledge. This variation is probably 5.9 or easy 5.10 and is about 10ft left of the red line drawn. Dec 27, 2015
Looking at another shot, I think what we did was climb about 20 ft left of the red start shown. It started up one thin crack, died out, and smeared to the other crack. Then back up and over the little "tower" to join where the red route is drawn.

But I wouldn't trust my memory from way back when.
Climb what looks obvious to you.

I've heard the left side of the tower is often done.
is that what you're referring to Mark?

Is that left leaning thing off the big ledge just a seam? Feb 25, 2016
