Peregrines have not been on the endangered spieces list since 1999. Their biggest threat was certain pesticides which have since been banned, not climbers. They kill and eat other birds. They live just fine in noisy cities so closures of entire cliffs to protect these admittedly magnificent raptors is often unwarranted.
