I installed those bolts, and the NCCC is planning on installing a few more. Trust me, we WILL be leaving most of the trad anchor top ropes bolt free. Duncan's Ridge sees heavy use, usually by less than experienced climbers. Soil erosion is becoming a serious issue up there, and tree anchors are no longer a viable solution for some of the anchors. The NCCC has full support from Larimer County on this project, and we will be releasing more information about this later in the month.

Interesting considering it is very easy to make anchors for both these routes. Mar 31, 2015
