Highly specific move & protection beta for the second (crux) pitch.
The dihedral is vertical, and does not lean as shown in this topo, but it feels like it does. The # of fixed pins is highly variable. When I did this route in '91 Rich Lake had just pounded in a bunch of fresh pins, so many of us scrambled to get in a ride when we knew the pro was probably quite good. This would be a very different climb without those pins to clip on the go. Mar 29, 2015

Mark Wagner was a hard man badass climber. My partner climbed with him for almost a decade. Nobody really climbed with him for long if they valued their life, maybe you were one of the few.
