I've gone that way. I think it's maybe a bit harder than right but easier than the crux moves. Gear is good and consistent with the rest of the route (ie small). Sep 14, 2015

Other than the additional challenge, staying left has the added benefit of not having to worry about the rope getting damaged on the arete edge. Sep 15, 2015

I have only done this once on a road trip. Yea, my friend leading it was looking back and forth at both corners trying to decide which to take and ended up going right. If I remember correctly, he back-cleaned his gear as he went up that short section because he was worried about rope drag or damage. I don't remember if I followed on the left or right. Sep 15, 2015
