Memorial to my friend Ross Richter just past the friendship boulders down by the bridge across the stream. I taught Ross how to climb on these boulders and gave him his first pair of climbing shoes. Ross truly loved the mountains and would often set off from the YMCA on foot along this path with a bag of skittles and some water to go on 20-30 mile hikes summiting peaks along the divide. He died tragically along with four other people after midnight in a dive bar in Denver during a robbery gone bad.
