The lower circle shows where most people finish this route. The upper circle shows the top of what most people think of as "Dragontail Spire." Topping out on Flattop involves climbing that whole upper wall above.

Crusin' steep snow in between chimneys.
This was our second pitch. You can make out where my belay was from how the picture is taken. I believe we started on the gully system to the right of where ETD truly starts. Steve (climbing in photo) had to an easy traverse to climbers left to get in to ETD's 2nd or maybe 3rd pitch.
