If you have a high resolution map of the area, this specific view shows the West face of the Lastoni di Formin plateau. Behind it (tips of crags sticking up) is the Croda Da lago ridgeline which is accessed down hill a few kilometers (down road) on path 436 which skirts north of this face and turns back up to that formation. The left hand aspect of this photo has Nikibi (6b+ - about 5.11a) and Paolo Amedeo (about 5.8) ending together and then descending the gully at the far left of the photo. The 2 right of center aretes have the Buzzi/Calzi NW buttress route (5.10a) then to the right of that is Super Tegolina and Gente Di Mare (both are 7a - about 5.11d). On the far right of the photo just past the crag is a pass leading around to the South Face of the Lastoni di Formin Plateau - this south facing subpeak is called Spiz de Mondeval (on your map). This has several superb newly bolted lines: Re Artu (6b- about 5.10c) and Love my dogs (6c or 6c+ - mid grade 5.11) approached on trail 436 (lower trail branch approach just to the right of the meadow in this photo is faster especially on the return hike downhill, the upper trail branch start begins at Passo Giau). See route descriptions I will post soon.

The point where this photo was taken is the parking area from which you should approach all these routes except those downhill (Nikibi and Paolo Amedeo). There is a trail just up hill at the corner across the road (alternate trail 436). You can hike up to the aretes or over the pass to the south face routes on Spiz de Mondeval easily from here.
