If you're bushwhacking up to the North Face, as I was today, it can be really confusing as to which outcropped fin is the correct one. The one you first see from the primary trail, by the stream, is much much lower and to the right. I hope this helps.
North Face, lower section - from arête to left... Welcome to the Jungle (T 5.11d), Green Eggs & Ham (T 5.8-), Sonic Temple (T 5.8), Lucy in the Sky (S 5.9), Gargoyle (S 5.11d), Trick or Treat (S 5.10b)...
Oct 1, 2021 - Lucy in the Sky attempt. Had to bail on bolt #4. Bees still very active. Someone with more guts than me to climb past... enjoy the biner.
The view at Devil's Race Track. It's cool because when you start the hike in, the highway is above you. After hiking and completing the climbs, you sit way above the highway. Great exposure and surprisingly solid rock.
Rock quality at the Racetrack seems good.
