My last time up this, my partner lead straight up the roof about 20ft left of the climber in this photo. It was a bit lichen coated and went at about 10+ with reasonable protection. Jul 3, 2016

We (myself and partner) were the only persons on this route. Route finding can be tricky in this section, though your description sounds good. Oct 21, 2015

This is a perfect picture of the 2nd to last pitch. This is where you should belay from after leaving the Beckey Tree. We went up a little bit higher (near the overhanging bolder at the end of the crack), but the end result is the same. Head hard right to the crack that goes over a roof on good gear. You can see a climber getting ready to exit the roof section in this photo. After the roof, belay somewhere on the flat ledge. Then do the last 5.10 pitch/section of a crescent shaped crack to the summit. Oct 20, 2015
