Zeacliff from ledge on "escape hatch" route above and left of Black Knight finish. Continue north or left to a ridge and down a gully to the central gully/rockslide then back down to the trail.
Can't wait to get back to the Zealand Falls Hut for some more delicious baked goods!

This is the largest flow on the cliff. You can see the whole flow from the hut but from the base of the cliff it is blocked by rock ridge in front of it. Looked pretty fat despite the warm temps.
The thin route from the earlier photo up close. Maybe a line up the middle with better (colder) conditions.
Black line is Black Knight. Red is Lady Slippers. Yellow is Castle Keep.

Photo taken from Zealand Hut, looking at Mt. Whitewall face on 02/21/2022. Temps were above freezing all day and the days before were also quite warm with multiple rain events. Ice looked pretty good on the center route and thin/mixed on the other.
The top half section of the northern ridge. 'The Black Knight' is above the large pine the top corner of the ridge's sky line.
Northern view from the ledge before 'The Red Queen's' actual pillar. The white central wall and corner ramp that exits the cliff is 'Castle Keep' the longest and so far the best climbing area on the mountain.
Redline is the escape route back to the main gully. <br> A trip to the summit is nice but a lot of extra work! <br> Should be accessible from the top of all the main headwall routes???
