Maybe a year ago? It's a lot of fun, even though the flake is so short--you get two or three cool moves and then you're back on the same old face climb. I soloed it with a grigi on a fixed line--totally doable because of the ease of the climbing, but you definitely don't want to fall off the first couple of moves on the flake because you'll swing straight into the ground. of course it's sand so you'd be alright, but still... Very interesting line, Nick. When did you sus that extension out? We climbed the flake to the anchor on the regular Left Route in the early 80's. Jan 26, 2013
