One of the most exposed, spectacular moderate pitches in the Northeast. There's nothing beneath you and you can hear the gentle roar of the waterfall flowing in the dark gully as you traverse. Just awesome. This pitch alone is reason enough to take on the approach (and descent). You could go cragging in Conway and stand in line for 2 hours behind guided clients to do the Thin Air traverse, or sack up and start hiking to get to this thing. Sep 14, 2015

What a gorgeous photo. Awesome perspective. But don't let it scare you: the pitch is actually a slab with awesome feet and hands, and is not hard at all. It is also one of the coolest places to be in all the White Mountains---I always go slow on that pitch, just to make it last. :-) Jul 16, 2014
