The most direct route to Mans Best Friend's base is by rappeling from the anchors located directly across from the wall. You can scramble around either way though.

Should you choose to rap of the anchors to the base of Mans Best Friend, make sure you are comfortable twisting on the decent due to the location of the anchor in respect to the line of the wall.

The Lovely Cyn working her way down the first pitch of Mans Best Friend.
The Lovely Cyn hiking out of the east approach of Mans Best Friend. The is the easiest way to enter and exit the route.
Looking east towards the base of Mans Best Friend. This is the most sketchy spot on the hike in if you choose this route to the base. This is the highest risk route of the three options to approach the base.
