The route is protected with perma-draws after the first two bolts, so it's ideal to back clean the first two bolts from the sit-down rest (just outside of the frame) before you continue climbing.

I was wondering why two bolts are skipped in this picture too... I know they aren't bad. Maybe he's finishing someone else's lead and they cleaned the lower draws on the way down? idk, maybe he's just an over confident climber who didn't see the point to place protection until the 4th bolt. Regardless the reason this reminds me of someone one redriverclimbing.com that signs his posts with "chicks dig scars so skipping the first few bolts might just get you laid" lol! Jun 6, 2012
