Yes it is awkward. It looked so straightforward! Back in 1989, this was our first real aid pitch too, hence the hammer (unused). My 2nd had all but given up by this point, and having rapped down to help out (and take this picture) I went back up to clean the pitch.

Came back a few years later to aid solo it and found it even more awkward than I remember the first time. Jun 7, 2012
