Tia Stark leading Rubicon from the (in?)direct start - Miramontes Photography. This start was .11 R, and had some great bouldery moves on coarse but good rock. I'd go 3 out of 5 stars for this high-quality headpoint start, and 5 for the entire route.

I didn't think this direct start was 11 ('10+' for sure!), but I TRd it and am definitely impressed with the lead. Mar 17, 2016

I can attest that this start is the way to do the route for sure. I thought the hardest moves were right off the ground, with the spicy moves being in the .10 range, but it's splitting hairs. I was able to get a good .4 and #2 ball nut in the slashes and felt good about them.
quality climbing and would definitely recommend. Apr 8, 2017
