Can confirm you won't get a ticket. I've been coming here for about 4 years parking in that same spot. Before I climbed I would go night hiking here, and since climbing for the past year I've never gotten a ticket. Aug 15, 2016
We're no longer receiving tickets when we park there (as of 2015), and we never paid them anyway, being very opposed to paying twice for use of National Forest land--first, through taxes, then through a fee. A judge ruled against the legality of charging fines on NF land just for parking, i.e., no amenities at the site: latimes.com/science/science…

At any rate, we've been told that there's no money for enforcement of the law, anyway. For our part, we simply make sure to not only not leave garbage ourselves, but to pick up after others. Good citizenship trumps a parking fee in my book. Dec 7, 2015

I believe the fine has gone up to $15.
Adventure Pass was $30 for the year ($5 for an additional pass that allows you to park two cars next to one another) as of Feburary 2015 Mar 4, 2015
