where I made the anchor at end of p1. note there is a bigger ledge 5 feet down but I liked the protection better at the one I am standing at.

Pitch 2

Starting off on P3. Easy climbing (5.3) leads to the summit of the mummy buttress. We climbed the route on December 30, 2005. Probably the coldest climbing day I have ever experienced. Numb fingers makes 5.5 feel like 5.10!

This is the belay ledge at the top of the second pitch on The Mummy. It's no lunch ledge like on Jim Dandy but it is a very spacious ledge. We fit 4 people here and it wasn't even really crowded.

Nowhere better in the spring!

The Prow on the right from the belay station at the top of pitch 2 of the Mummy. Good shade even at 2 pm on a summer day for most of the route.
