I think this is where I saw someone take a long fall. After the bulge, there's no gear. This girl whipped hard on that piece you see placed in this photo. It was a long fall. Jun 12, 2017

There is actually a really bomber nut that can be placed about 2-3 feet above the horizontal. You can reach up and place it from the good hold then shake out before rolling through. Jun 12, 2017

It can be pretty hard to find though and pumpy while you search. There's two slots that look plausible but only one is really good. I've also found a mediocre small cam placement out right of the stopper (see the other route picture of "Mary placing the crux pro" for that one but note that is NOT where the good stopper goes). It's a really helpful piece though as it takes a few feet off the fall right at the crux move, doesn't need to be extended much to be in line with the route, and it keeps you in line with the roof face rather than back under it. This isn't the only crux though and another decent sized fall is possible higher up where the vertical crack ends. Jun 16, 2017
