My first ever day on a rock climb 1952. We followed marks on the rock not knowing what climb we were on or grade.The reason we came here was to look for Jackdoor nest's . The same day we soloed the climbs on Brown Slabs.The photo was taken with a Brownie Box Camera.Footware leather sandals.

About 1966 .The Lamplighter Folk group from Keswick poised for this photo taken to promote an apperance on a BBC radio show.I was one of them !
Great views above the Derwentwater Lake . The town of Keswick lies at the head of the lake
