Having fun leading the wide crack on P-2 of Jubilant Song in Windy Canyon, Red Rock.

Jonny rapping from Chuckawalla 21 in Mud Springs, Red Rock. It's a longish approach to get to C-21. We were the only ones deep in the canyon that day, which isn't too uncommon in these parts. Fun climb!

Looking like a nerd after getting spanked on some winter climbing in Red Rock.

A big wall climber sucking on his nuts in Zion. Actually, I think that's me before I started working out more religiously.<br>

8/28/09 at the Narrows.

A nap in the shade on a ledge was our reward after hiking to the base of Angel Food Wall in direct sunlight on a hot summer day. I don't think it's a good idea to take a nap before climbing; it was hard for me to want to get up, but we did, and managed the climb. Fun times!<br>

Hmmm... I'm not sure what he's doing in this pic; possibly thirsty after running, and somersaulting down the sand dune on a hot fiery day, or maybe looking for the rare Mojave Fringe-toed Lizard I told him about. He surely can't be hiding from me, trying to disguise himself as a creosote bush. Ah, the mysteries of the desert. <br>
