Where is the rappel anchor that you're working off? I've always gone over to Golden Earring. May 11, 2010

The anchor is at the base of a little gully you likely crossed/climbed over on your way toward the golden earring anchors. It's the same type thing - fixed nuts slotted into a crack. There's a tree (dead?) and a big rock you have to negotiate past on your way to it. It's a decent alternative for when there's a line/someone leading at the GE/QS rap. May 11, 2010

Can confirm. 60m rope reached the ground with about 2 feet spare before rope stretch. Your rope may vary.

I place a #1 and #2 C4 in the cracks up and to the left of the fixed nuts to protect the final few feet down to the rap rings. Oct 1, 2018
