Where is this one? The Bigfoot Guide doesn't list it. Sep 24, 2015

From Swallow the Sea & The Jug Hauls Left and Right, schwack northerly to a scramble/notch (as I recall) and then more scrambling down left of a big chimney over more rocks, then with the water gurgling below big rocks and boulder hop or two to comfortable perch on rock near or on the big boulder with the indentation (see water in background, and look up.

I did a route, up a blunt, and featured pocketed arete where the edge of the cliff changes its aspect to face northerly. It had remnants of seagull nests coated with white layers of their excrement in the bigger huecos.

The middle part of this face, with a long scooped trough, very pocketed, has a route on the side of it, up to a series of more amazing holds and bulge, and then it goes right to traverse where you see Chris finishing up, and loving it!
Right of that was a thinner route up littler pockets edges, but going to the same anchors.

The blunt arête route was called The Seagull's Symphony and the foto is from the anchor of Seductive Mermaid with Cutlass Supreme out of sight directly below. Sep 24, 2015
Thanks for the info. I was climbing out there the other day but ran out of daylight to get on this one. I think I know which route it is, I think the Bigfoot Guide has it listed as "Wine Dark Sea" and put up by Tim W. I'm curious where the name change came from, and am anxious to get on the route. There is renewed interest in a rebolting! Hopefully something will come of it. Jan 17, 2017
