Charlie was nice enough to take this photo of us on summit from a point along the Ken Patrick Trail between Point Imperial and the road to Cape Royal. This offers an interesting perspecive on Mount Hayden.

Don't think so Andrew, the description of where the pic is taken from is pretty accurate. Certainly with a telephoto. Just have to walk the rim far enough South to get this view. But it's confusing with directions in this area for some reason. Feb 25, 2016

I think some of the confusion surrounding the orientation of the faces on Mt Hayden comes from the fact that its essentially an elongated pyramid shape with only three real sides. It has a small north face, which you see from Point Imperial which is characterized by being in the shade all day and has an interesting-looking off-width crack that goes from ground to just below the summit, there is the East Face where Pegasus is, then the South Face which arcs to the West where the South Face route and its variations can be found pictured here. You can get this view from Roosevelt Point too. Jun 30, 2017

South Face route actually faces somewhat SE. I GPS'd it the last time I was down there. Wish I still had the track, but I think I lost it the last time my PC died.
