Hey, that site looks familiar! Was there a stick already hanging on top of the boulder for tying off food? Glad you had a great trip to the Winds. Oct 29, 2008
We loved it! Jonny found this cool spot, and we felt lucky to have utilized it. I especially was tickled by the "stone furniture" in the cave. I bet this spot has provided many good times for people for years! I'll never forget it. Aug 12, 2008

I have slept and cooked meals in the cave under that boulder to the right many times. I love that bivy spot. Nice and central between Pingora, Wolf's Head, all the cool summits along the crest to the southwest (a big arc all around the camp site) and Mitchell, Lizard's Head, The Monolith to the east.
