Nice photos Dave. Quick question. I see the first bolt and from looking at the other picture, it looks like the second clip is another 10 feet or so above (seems like that puts you out maybe 25 feet or so). How far below the first bolt is the ground? (i.e. if you blow the second clip, are you going to deck or just get banged up? Nov 14, 2010

The second bolt is up by the little sort of "S" shaped right facing flake up and slightly left. You're a pitch off the deck when you start the climb, so decking shouldn't be an issue. But if you fall up near the bolt (the hardest move in this section is the step-up to the bolt) you'll probably get launched off the bottom of the slab and crater back into the wall below. The way that thing works is when yer halfway to he bolt there's no going back. Best not to fall there.

Back then I never wore a helmet cragging, but realistically if you were too get killed there the likely reason would be the lack of a helmet. Jun 18, 2016
