Nothing is as bad as it seems. The Edge was a lot less intimidating on the way back.

You can't see them in this photo, but after one major routefinding error and a few stops along the way, the party I front of us summitted and were starting their way back across the knife edge in the picture.

The view from K2 is a little daunting, but one step at a time will get you there.

The fish below Capitol Peak are hungry.

To the right of the fish, you can see the hill you start up to round the backside of Capitol. It is easy to get off route at 3 am if you've never done it before. Be safe, have fun.

Beautiful peak, beautiful lake, beautiful fish. What more could you ask for?
