The approach to the East Side has changed. There is a flattened area through the avalanche debris that is better than some other areas. Follow your instincts to get across, then look for power lines & the old cabin, then go uphill steeply to the crag.

Sketchy anchor atop the east face of monitor rock. Luckily there are many better options abound.
