Get off the trail a little way off the beaten track and you will be surprised as what you can find. There are hidden caves and huge boulders that can be climbed up and thorough.

Beware climbing infrequently climbed routes may result in a few close encounters.

An all-too common sight on many routes at the gorge.

Summersville Lake, West Virginia - Deep Water Soloing

World class whitewater, Fayette Station Rapid (below Bridge Buttress). For climbers, the banks of the New River can provide a welcome summer cooldown.
