Variation to the first pitch on the South Face of the South Sixshooter. We climbed the this line to the approx. 150 feet right of the traditional start because of crowds. It's a more direct line to the east summit. We took the crack on the right in this photo and it was pretty easy, maybe 5.6-5.7(?). The crack on the left had been climbed before and looked really good. Just thought people might like to know that there are some other options.

South Six Shooter. Directly below the apparent high point in the photo is a smooth face split by a left-angling crack. This variation goes at approx. 5.10a/b and a second pitch will take you straightforwardly to the summit. Standard route is to the left in the shadows. Other variations exist to the right.
