LaDuke...I like that! Never heard of 'walking pop tarts' before. Pad people, Walking Tacos's, 'Trad-wanna-be's', and more but pop tarts fits just right.! Great ocean view, sand, sun, beach day, surfin' for sure, swim with the sharks, all that fun put aside for a fruitless struggle on a wet, mossy rock that looks very cool to just sit back and enjoy. Wonder if DWS works when the tide comes in? OR better yet at high tide,,,foat a pile of pads together, crawl up on top of them and get a better start on the boulder !! Mar 9, 2017

I do believe that rock is off limits due to its sacred status with the local Yurok tribe. It's the closest rock to the tribal ceremonial grounds, as well. Despite the obvious lines just keep walking south. Aug 20, 2015
