New bolted rappel anchor replacing the tree anchor on the southwest face of the Wind Tower.
Bolt anchor proposals to replace tree anchor near top of Upper Ramp.<br> <br> The lower anchor proposal is about 1.5m above and 2m left of current tree anchor on a good ledge. Access to this anchor is via a gully that starts near the EL 100 tree.<br> <br> The higher anchor proposal is about 7m above and 3-4m right of current tree anchor at the top of the ridge.<br> <br>
The easiest approach to the proposed anchor is shown by the dots.<br> <br> As you're heading towards the anchor, downclimb the right side of the slab and traverse left on a good ledge.<br> <br> No need to climb to the top of the slab and then downclimb next to the tree.

Proposed bolted rappel anchor at the top of the Upper Ramp on Redgarden Wall.<br> <br> The proposed anchor is about 5' left of the tree. There is a solid slab of rock in which to place the bolts, and a good ledge to stand on. Bolts are in vertical alignment per the recommendations in the FHRC guidelines.
