The facility is setup & managed by Girivihar with Podar College in its campus.
Girivihar is a public trust allied in mountaineering and climbing activities since 45+ years.It has hosted the the IFSC climbing WorldCup for India in 2016 and 2017 on behalf of Indian Mountaineering Foundation ( IMF)
