Cochamo + Chile | Partners | October 18 - 31

Hello,

I am looking for a climbing partner to climb with in Cochamo starting Oct 18th. Ideally looking for someone who wants to do all day alpine climbs. It does not have to be the hardest route, I wanna get outdoors and soak up the sun (and rain)! 

I live in Cusco, Peru and speak fluent spanish.

Hey, I visited Cochamó last year, it's an incredible place but that early in the season (and even as late as November 20-30) it will still be very very wet. I would not recommend planning a trip there at that time unless you want to spend a lot of time swimming in Rio Cochamó. Reach out if you are curious about any other logistics :)

I used to live in Cochamo and Puelo and know the area pretty well. I can provide beta and logistics info.

October it is not a bad choice but depends on the year. this year chile is been very hitted by la niña. So in rainy years the upper summits acumulates more water on the lakes and that raises the 3 rivers of the valley considerably for setting up camp.

If alpine like wawalun wall, south trinidad or capicua might be a better idea to tackle that later in the year. i would choose december.

Chilean vacations are Jan - Feb...so the place is packed with people.
