Red rock loop road entry question

When buying the entry pass on Rec.gov, the earliest entry / time slot is 0800. Gate opens at 0600. Anyone know if you can get in at 0600 as long as you have an entry ticket??

You can get in between 6 and 8 am without a reservation if you have a parks pass or buy a day pass.
