Very strong and experienced well-known Australian climber fell off Ali's at Arapiles and got helicoptered out. They're alive but got pretty messed up.

Don't fall off of 4th class terrain.

Ali's is a 4th class route, with sections of chains, that is often soloed up and down by experienced climbers to access harder routes on the upper Bluffs.

Thank God they didn’t hit anyone else on the way down!

Godspeed to them.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
